Therapy can support a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, life transitions, and more.
Therapy provides dedicated time to reflect on recent challenges, develop new insight, and connect with yourself. Some choose therapy for long-term, ongoing support.

If it’s been more than a couple weeks, or if you’re feeling really overwhelmed, hopeless, anxious, or irritable in a way that’s affecting your day-to-day, it might be more than the “baby blues.” The blues tend to be short-lived; Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) stick around longer and feel heavier. Either way, it’s okay to ask for help—we’ll sort it out together.
Your first session is usually about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what's been going on for you, your goals, and how I can best support you. Together we’ll make a plan.
-
Yes. You are welcome to bring your baby with you to virtual sessions or in-person sessions at my office in SW Calgary. There is a changing table available.
-
Absolutely. It is not as well-known, but 1 in 10 partners struggle with perinatal mood challenges. Everyone’s experience matters during this time—partners included.

There is no right or wrong way to show up for sessions. That said, therapy is most effective when it’s a true partnership. While I’m here to guide you and provide support, the real work happens when you show up as an active participant in the process. This means being open about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, even when they’re hard to express or feel uncertain. You are the expert on your own life. Your voice and feedback are a vital part of the process.
